Every year I host a few fishing trips for a limited number of passionate fly fishing enthusiasts. The destinations for these trips are some of the most awesome fishing locations around Australia and around the world.
Some destinations are new to me and are therefore an adventure, and some are places I go to regularly. All are fly fishing paradise!
Below are some of my previous hosted fishing events – I hope you can join me for the next one!
Arnhemland Barramundi Lodge (September 2nd – 8th 2015)
Barramundi are my favourite species and Alex Julius’s lodge out of Maningrida in Arnhemland is my favourite place to catch them. There’s the immense Liverpool River system right at the lodge, a dozen smaller coastal rivers and then to the west the Goomadeer River system. Additionally there are countless kilometers of beaches and flats and incredible offshore deeper reef fishing. The fingermark bream (golden snapper) is unmatched in this country. We like to mix the week up with barramundi sessions on the best tides phases, cruising the beaches and creek mouths on incoming tide, and dredging the offshore reefs for some real arm stretching sessions that can cost us dozens of flies and even fly lines for a few battles won, but what prizes!!!
Upper Zambesi River – Southern Africa.
St Brandon’s Atoll – Seychelle Islands.
